WhatsApp with IFTTT

You can receive and send WhatsApp Messages in/from IFTTT.

Receiving (for free) and sending messages on IFTTT is super simple. No account/registrations is required. Just follow the instructions below.

How to receive WhatsApp Messages in IFTTT

1) Create a new Applet 

2) Click “Add” from the “If This” section to create the new Trigger

3) Search for “In Out WA” service

4) Select the “Specific WhatsApp message was received” trigger. If you select “Any WhatsApp message was recevied”, the trigger will be started when any text message is received no matter of the content.

5) The first time that you use the Service, you need to Connect InOut.bot with your IFTTT Account by authenticating your number. Click here to open the instructions
Note: This has to be done only once.

6) Enter the Text Message that you want use to trigger this Applet and click “Create trigger”. For Example, to trigger the Applet every time that you send “Alarm On”.

7) Click “Create trigger”.

Now, if you send a text message to the WhatsApp Number +1 234 3322110, the IFTTT Applet will be started. For example, you can send “Turn on light”.

 

How to Send WhatsApp Messages from IFTTT

 

1) Create a new Applet 

2) Click “Add” from the “Then That” section to create the new Action

3) Search for “InOut WA” Service

4) Select “Send Message” Action

5) The first time that you use the Service, you need to Connect InOut.bot with your IFTTT Account by authenticating your number. Click here to open the instructions
Note: This has to be done only once.

6)  Enter the Text Message that you would like to send to your WhatsApp number.

7) You will receive the TextMessage in your WhatsApp number from the InOut.bot Business Account.
